I didn't even get to enjoy the project that I appeared on,because after I dropped my verses for the compilation. I got locked up for 4 and a half years. The project dropped in summer 1996. I got out in 1999. Missed out on the wave. It's was love that I even got to make the album being that I got locked down. They kept it 100 tho... I am not a fan of this type of production. The producers game has evolved so much. I don't think this type of production could fly ever again in today's hip hop scene. It does have a old school feel to it. This was definitely the sound of the emerging of something new(hiphop) that nobody had a blue print too yet. That's the great part about this type of productions. We have great original compositions that were inspired by these sampling producers.
